Contrary to popular belief, our physical body is never older than seven years! This is due to the fact that the body recreates itself constantly. Tissue cells die and are replaced by new ones. Every second we lose about three-and-a-half million red blood cells. There is nothing to worry about though, for another three-and-a-half million are born to replace the old ones. Ninety-eight percent of the atoms present in our body today will be gone within one year and replaced by new ones. The body is more like a river of constantly renewed tissues rather than a frozen sculpture of decaying matter.
Skin cells live for seven days, heart cells for ninety days, while bone cells have a thirty-six month life span. There is a different life expectancy for every type of tissue cell depending on its function and location in the body. Life energy, the creative force, is constantly at work recreating our tissues and organs. Life energy or 'human electricity' travels via the nerve system to reach every single tissue cell in the body.
When nerves are compressed or irritated, there is a loss of life, abnormal function results and the reproduction cycle of cells is altered. We either have a slower rate of reproduction which is degeneration or decay, or we have a faster rate of turnover which is uncontrolled growth or tumors.
The question we must all ask ourselves is, what kind of body are we going to have next year? Is it going to be a healthier one or a sicker one? Is it going to replace itself normally or abnormally? Is it going to express more ease or dis-ease? If already in a state of degeneration and decay, is it going to keep going downhill, or is it going to rebuild itself? If a state of dis-ease exists, are we going to give our body the potential to heal itself, or are we going to allow it to express more disease?
Chiropractic is special in that it utilizes the adjusting of vertebral (spinal) subluxations or blockages that interfere with life force expression. The result is a body that has the potential to reproduce itself normally and recover by healing itself.
Healing is creation, and the creative spark of life. Consistent chiropractic adjustments release life force by keeping the life channels open and free of subluxations. In time the body can recover and express better health.
In seven years we will have a brand new body, but what kind is it going to be?

'Reorganizational Healing' Model Puts Emphasis On Self-awareness And Personal Will
ScienceDaily (May 21, 2009) — Reorganizational Healing (ROH), an emerging concept for wellness, healing, and personal growth, is explored in a newly published article.
Reorganizational Healing gives people the tools to create a map "to self-assess and draw on strengths to create sustainable change," explain Dr. Donald Epstein, DC, Dr. Simon Senzon, MA, DC, and Dr. Daniel Lemberger, DC, in the article published The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.
"Instead of being meaningless, people's problems become diseases of meaning…helping them become stronger, to live more fully and with more understanding," write the authors. ROH incorporates three central elements: the Four Seasons of Well-Being, the Triad of Change, and the Five Energetic Intelligences.
"There can be no doubt that we are witnessing the birth of a powerful method of healing, grounded in rigorous scientific fact, that will become integral to future systems of healthcare. This is a manuscript that deserves study in all teaching and therapeutic institutions," says Dr. Kim A. Jobst, Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.
Describing ROH as "a health change model whose time has come," Professor Robert H.I. Blanks, PhD, Affiliated Faculty at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (Florida) asserts that ROH "presents a viable big-picture option for improving the health of individuals and addressing the current health care crisis in the United States and worldwide."
One aspect of ROH, Network Spinal Analysis (NSA), uses electromyographic measurements of the central nervous system (CNS) to determine the organization and synchronization of electrical signals across the entire spine–whereas in neurologic disorders there is a lack of synchronization of these signals. However, with healing, the innate ability of the CNS to reorganize is harnessed so that the signals become less random and more predictable which is indicative of greater organization of the circuitry. "From this point of view, it is fair to assert that Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) provides some sort of 'reorganization healing'," writes Professor Edmond Jonckheere, PhD, from the University of Southern California, in a Letter to the Editor published in the same issue of the Journal.
"At a time when there is increasing global instability in financial, industrial, political, and social systems, healthcare is not exempt from the same apparent chaos. Such times are critical for evolution. They are Crises – moments of simultaneous danger and opportunity. At such times, the old dies to make way for new structures, new hierarchies of value and meaning if the opportunity can be seen and seized," says Editor-in-Chief Jobst. "In this context, when individuals understand the relationship between their disease symptoms and their lifestyle choices, and most importantly are willing to take the steps needed for sustainable behavior change, they can achieve healthier, more fulfilling and more meaningful lives."

Most people think the sacrum is one fused immobile joint. We will take a journey into the hips, sacroiliac joints, and femur circumduction to discover our potential for increased range of motion. Creating increased space to explore our foundation and lower chakra information held in the hips. Once the hips are open the spine and nervous system will begin to process the new information moving up the spine. Breath and movement will harmonize furthering an elongation the spine and its related structures. This creates the fuel for your evolution!

Dr. Stephanie Bridwell-LCCW Presentation
The Spinal Gateway phenomenon is constantly being developed and refined through our clinical work in the field and research over multiple disciplines. It has extraordinary properties. Today we will explore the following topics:
1. It serves as an access point to promote self-assessment of the nervous system including subtle cues about the internal and external environment.
2. It is a focal area of free or "unbound" energy located on or adjacent to spinal segments directly or indirectly attached to the dura mater.
3. It possesses sensitivity to natural biological energy fields and "non-local" intelligence. The Spinal Gateway is viewed as an interface between the dimensions of energy, consciousness, and physical tissue.
4. To serve as a nexus for interaction between the passive, active, neural control and emotional subsystems which contribute to spinal and neural integrity.
5. The ability to utilize a light force or touch to assist the nervous system to move from a state of stress physiology and defense posture to a more adaptive, growth promoting state.
NSA's low force applications (sensitive to the location of Spinal Gateways) help individuals to move from stress physiology to safety and from safety to growth. As this occurs new strategies as well as spinal and neural outcomes develop which have never been reported elsewhere. Energy that was formerly bound in defensive posture and stress physiology is liberated for constructive use by the nervous system. The nervous system uses this freed energy for self-assessment, needed posture correction, and normalizing body functioning. The most immediate effect of this energy release is increased breathing and movement, relaxation, and extreme immediate release of deep stored tension.
When a Spinal Gateway is contacted the body naturally breathes and moves, stretches, awakens, releases stuck energy of traumas, mental or emotional stress.
Once specific spinal gateways are found, they become stronger and more responsive. For this reason, they are recorded and NSA practitioners use them to train your nervous system the strategy translate stress and tension and to reorganize it so that the system works at a higher level.
The Spinal Gateway is the interface between how you perceive yourself and how you perceive the world. This means that huge amounts of information are processed and interpreted through these points on your spine. Based on your past experience, you are constantly evaluating situations as good or bad, safe or unsafe.
The e Anti Gateway:
When vertebrae distort as a consequence of defense posture, at least one of the vertebral articulations is in relationship to the stress experienced at the time. Within the concept of NSA, a force is not applied to a segment that is a product of defense posture. If you determine that certain energy is too traumatic to experience, the part of your body that feels that energy stops moving, the muscles in that area tighten and your breath skips over it. This is how we keep from feeling things we don’t like. The brain registers a developed spinal gateway as a place of peace and can override the defense with safety allowing us to trust that we can connect to and release and reorganize stress. Now we can grow from stress vs. freeze in place!
